Which Certifications do we offer?
We offer Basic Keel Bare Boat Certifications (ASA 101 through 104) as well as ASA 105.
What should I bring?
Packing light is recommended -soft luggage, boat shoes, caps qand hats, plenty of sunblock and your swimming apparel are a must.
Do we need a passport?
Recommended but only required if you are not a U.S. Citizen.
What language is spoken in Puerto Rico?
Spanish and English.
Distance from Airport to Marina?
Between 45 minutes to 1 hour.
Transportation from Airport?
Tax will cost around $60. Enterprise, Thrifty, L&M pickup at Airport and drop-off close to the Marina.
Where can we provision for food?
There are several good supermarkets close to the Marina. They are fully stocked with everything you usually find in US Mainland stores as well as a selection of tropical fruits.
Can I get vegetarian food?
All supermarkets have a vegetarian section. There is also a Natural Foods store in our area.
Places to stay before boarding?
Our marina is open 24 hours a day, with security on hand. If your flight is late we recommend that you stay in the San Juan area. The Airport Hotel is very nice and reasonably priced. If you decide to venture out to the Marina, we can leave the boat ready for you, lights on and meet you i the morning.
Are there restaurants close by?
There are many places to eat close to the Marina. The Marina also has a convenience store/deli serving breakfast and deli sandwhiches.
