List of Club Members to Call for Sailing Partners
Pictures taken of last trip by Dario Vissepo
The last Sail/Dive trip was really fun even the Captain went down first time in seven years. I had almost forgotten how much fun it is to dive. The weather cooperated beautifully and it did not rain for the whole weekend although the winds on Saturday were fairly strong.
Please find an attachment of fellow club members with whom you may call to go sailing and who enjoy having company. If your name is not on the list and wish to have it included please let us know.
Remember if you have not yet completed your ASA certification you may still go out sailing with other certified club members and join in all club activities.
There will be a club trip in April to Culebra and we will be also be sailing to Vieques in May with optional Diving and/or kayak trip on the bioluminescent bay, an experience of a lifetime. Members who could not stay for the last kayak trip will have a credit for the kayak portion of the trip.
Advanced 106 ASA course will be held on February 26th through March 1st. (4 days). 105 Home study course is prerequisite, there are two spaces available. We will be teaching spinnaker and night sailing (quite challenging) Reserve Now.
We will soon be letting our members know of the date for the Spring Regatta. Last year’s cup went to Atilio Renom. So this year we can’t let him get away with it again.
Remember that we can book your sailing charter with SunSail Charters.
As always we appreciate your cooperation with club activities and wish to thank those members that have continuously contributed with thier participation; sharing pictures of the activities and overall helping in any way with the club.
